When I first entered Brentwood School in the 7th grade, I was terrified and my grades came all the way down to a 2.5 average from 3.9 in elementary school. Mr. Basmagian told my parents about a course of his entitled "Study Skills." So I took the course and raised my average to 2.9 for the second semester of the 7th grade, then up to 3.0 in 8th grade. In the 9th grade, I applied the study skills that Mr. Basmagian taught me got a 3.5 grade point average, just 1/10th of a point from Dean's List.
