The first one wasn't TERRIBLE. The third one is pretty awesome, especially with the World Adventures expansion pack. However, there were some awesome features (that I can't remember right now because I haven't played it in SO long) that were in the Sims 2 that aren't in The Sims 3 which I found to be REALLY disappointing.
