The sequel to The Lost Hero is The Son of Neptune.
No, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief was in the first series and Heroes of Olympus is the second series (Lost Hero, Son of Neptune, Mark of Athena) Hope this helps :)
The Lost Hero is the next series in the "Camp Half-Blood" book series. It does not revolve entirely around Percy, Annabeth, and Grover this time, though.
No, Clarisse is not a character in "The Lost Hero" book which is part of the Heroes of Olympus series written by Rick Riordan. She is a character from the original Percy Jackson series.
That book is part of the series "The Heroes of Olympus", which basically follows after the series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians".
No. Rick Riordan probably felt that the series was finished. He is going to write another series about some minor characters from the Percy Jackson series.
There are five books in the Heroes of Olympus. The first one was released at 2010, and the series will end 2014.
Yes, it is part of The Heroes of Olympus series, written by Rick Riordan.

Yes and no. In the series Percy Jackson and the Olympiansthere are five books but there is a new series called Heroes of Olympus that has some of the same settings and characters as Percy Jackson and the Olympians. So far two have been released in the new series (The lost Hero and The son of Neptune) and the third one (The Mark of Athena) is set to come out in 2012.
Rick Riordan has writen the Tres Navarre series, a mystery series FOR ADULTS. He has also written The Heroes of Olympus series, which adds on to the Percy Jackson series but isn't actually part of it. The Heroes of Olympus series includes: The Lost Hero, the Son of Neptune, and the Mark of Athena, (which comes out fall 2012). He has also written the Kane Chronicles series, which includes: The Red Pyramid, The Throne of Fire, and The Serpent's Shadow (comes out may 1st, 2012) He is planing on writing a series on Norse mythology in 2015
The Last Olympian was the last Percy Jackson book in the series, and is the last book from Percy's point of view, but he will still be a character in The Lost Hero (Heros of Olympus), which is told from third person... Well, at least, that's what I think. But the next book in the Heros of Olympus series which is going to be The Son of Neptune (I think), there will probably be more of Percy than Jason... But correct me if I'm wrong because I didn't read TLH yet ;)
