Nope - Sony stopped production of the PS1 in March 2006. The PS2 is still being made - with no plans at the moment to stop production.
As a general rule, most portable players produced by Sony will not be able to play cassettes. This applies to current models and it is still possible to buy an out of production model which still has one.

Sony has not sold the Original PS3 for some time. The also do not sell the models that came after them or there replacement. The PS3 slim model that can out first is still being sold and in production, but a new model came out on May 2010 and when into production.
