I believe it is in fact fake. On the episode with the Urban terrorism, the episode withe terrorists in the hospital with hostages, is a prime example with undeniable proof. Will inserts out of a van and immediately climbs to the roof. Now if you watch when the camera goes to his rear facing gun cam, he is using an XM177E2 with an M16A1 rear receiver. At certain times in the remainder of the episode Will is suddenly using an M4A1 with a flattop receiver...How is this possible? Infact on some scenes it shows Will moving supposedly only a few feet and the rifle switching. Is the man carrying an extra rifle somewhere and randomly switching!?! I think not. Obviously fake. But they use not real bullets and they use highly train army men as the enemies, it is a simulation it's not suppose to real.
