Assuming U R talking about MS Word: B found in the font toolbar will bold text. I am not sure about Open Office etc.
The tool bar is located at the top of your browser page. If the tool bar is hidden simply go to the top corner of the page and clock on the icon for the browser. Select options and the check the tool bar.
Okay, I found a solution myself. Install the Firefox Add-on Compatibility Reporter (the link can be found below), and then just install the toolbar like normal.
Once you've installed the toolbar, it should appear at the top of your browser, just like any other browser toolbar (for instance Yahoo or Google).It may be found for download at the link below.
