It depends on what you want. If you want a cheap gun to have fun with in the back yard then this would be okay. Just do not expect it to last very long. But if you plan on entering any sort of competitive skirmish then this is not recommended. Most spring powered guns are cheap and are not very durable. Their internals are plastic and will not take any upgrading. The spring blade g36 has about the same power and quality as a pistol you might find in a sporting goods store. A better alternative is an AEG (Automatic electric gun) that are more expensive but have metal gears and normally shoot over 300 feet per second.
