The sun is a star.
It is made out of gas, and yes, it is a star. Not everybody knows that.
The sun is a star not a planet and it is composed of gases (mainly Hydrogen and Helium)
Actually it's a star, not a planet. It is also known as a gas giant.
Neither. The sun is a star, not a planet.
A planet is a large body of rock or gas that orbits a star, such as the sun.
It is an asteroid.
The seventh planet from the sun is Uranus and yes, it is a gas planet.
The sun is a star and the gas planet is a planet.
The sun is a star, not a planet. the terrestrial planets are also made of either rock, ice, or gas.
Jupiter is a gas planet (or a gas giant).
Rock.
no its a star if it was a gas giant it would be a planet
It is gas
rock not gas
The earth is made of rock. It's sometimes called the lithosphere, and litho means rock. A lot of the rock in the middle of the planet is molten, but liquified rock is rock just the same. The earth has an atmosphere, but it is not a "gas planet" in that sense. We look at the structure of the earth in geology and geophysics. And most folks associate geologists with rocks.
A rock, or minor planet orbiting the sun is an asteroid ( a rock that can be small or big, depends)! hope this helps you :D
