yes ,, first the science says the earth is flat, then they told it is round. but the science is now find out that, the earth is rotating its ownself and also the earth rotating the sun .

the Earth rotating its own , it take one day ---

but rotating the sun , it take 1 year..

this like the earth rotating the sun , what happening means , the sun also rotates itself, also pulling the earth with the families of their planet, with the speed of nine lakhs kilometres . they are running in the galaxy ,,

hence the sun only not rotating , it also running with their families of their planet, ,,

this said by god (ALLAH ) .. verify with AL QURAN 13:2 , 31:29 , 35:13 , 36:38 , 39:5.. o god is great,,

Are you moving around the sun or it is the sun that moves around the planets?

The planets are considered moving around the sun, even though the sun moves too (in tiny circles opposite the planets' motions). The planets are circling the sun. The sun (dragging the planets along with it) is circling our galaxy's center. Our galaxy (dragging the sun, the planets, and all the other stars) is moving through the universe as well.

Can a planet act as a star in a constelation?

Not really. The planets - even the slow moving ones further out, are constantly moving around the sun and are therefore always moving against the background stars, which are fixed.

How does the planets orbit?

The planets orbit because of gravity and their momentum. They are constantly flying away from the sun, but at the same time are being pulled toward it by gravity. The end result is that they stay moving in a circular motion around the sun.

When was the last time the planets were aligned with center of the universe?

There is no universally agreed-upon definition of "center of the universe." Planets do not align with this hypothetical point or plane in the way often portrayed in astrology or pseudoscientific claims. In reality, the planets are constantly moving in their orbits around the Sun, and such alignments are arbitrary and not astronomically significant.

Why do all the constellations appear to be moving?

Everything in the sky appears to be moving because Earth is rotating. BUT - also, Earth is orbiting the Sun, and the Sun and all the planets are rotating in an arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is also moving through the Universe....

How are the planet's moving in the universe?

Mainly the planets orbit round the Sun and can be considered as a closed system with the Sun fixed at the centre. However the Sun revolves around the centre of our local galaxy as well.

What was ptolemy theory on planets?

The astronomical system of Ptolemy, in which the earth is at the center of the universe with the sun, moon, planets, and stars revolving about it in circular orbits.Ptolemaic system Ptolemy believed that Earth was at the center of the universe and that the Sun and planets orbited Earth (with the planets also moving in smaller circles called epicycles). In this system, the centers of Mercury's and Venus's epicycles always lie on the line shown in the diagram between the Earth and the Sun.

When planets are closer to the sun how are they moving?

They are moving in an elliptical orbit

What did Copernicus believe about the earth and the sun?

He believed in a heliocentric universe, or a universe where all of the planets revolve around the sun.

Why do the planets have to revalv around the sun?

If planets had no orbital momentum, the gravitational pull from the Sun would pull them into the Sun. Essentially, an orbit is a stable path where an object is constantly falling towards its primary and constantly missing.
