The Obama tour bus has been the subject of much myth. Actually, it's a testament to NAFTA and free trade. The shell of the bus came from Canada, but the bus itself was fitted and assembled in the USA (in Tennessee). As for Harry Reid, I am not sure I understand your question, but many politicians that postured about the U.S. Olympic team's clothing are indeed guilty of hypocrisy: To cite one example, Mitt Romney contracted out the Salt Lake City Olympic uniforms to a company in Burma (today Myanmar), but nobody said much about it at the time. And you are probably correct in saying that most politicians wear clothing made in other countries.
