Is the universal life church allowed to give honorary doctorate of metaphisics degrees?

Technically, churches can give any honorary degrees they wish to. The real question would be how much credence will people give an honorary degree in metaphysics.
At the Universal Life Church Seminary, the metaphysics degree is an earned 5 months degree course taught by a respected author/teacher in the field. Coursework and final essays are required.
The ULC Headquarters also offers a course in metaphysics, which does require some reading.
My understanding is that neither the ULC Seminary, nor the ULC Headquarters offers honorary degrees for Metaphysics. They are earned degrees.
