Slowly. Very slowly. Many of these coins that are left are in the hands of collectors or private holders. The amount of coins known never really decreases because you can't spend these and people don't just throw them away(Never do this!). Because of this the rarity does not increase and therefore the value will never really sky rocket through the roof and make you rich. Currently an average half penny is worth $50 to a $100. Proofs are worth much more.
