There are currently 9 failed predictions of the Rapture. 2 predictions say that the world will end October 21,2011 and another prediction is in 2060. The reason they predict the Rapture due to complicated calculations. It's rather hard to explain. Harold camping predicted the world ending in 1994, which led to the Great Disappointment. He's also the one who predicted it would end may 21. He's 89 years old ... so that may explain a lot lol.
But no one can predict the Rapture because it's meant to be unknown. Jesus doesn't even know when it's going to come. "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only"

∙ 14y agoWe do not know when the world is going to end. They keep moving the year when the world is going to end further. For what we know the people on Earth used to say the world was gonna end on 666 and 999. Now they are saying 2012, then 2029!
