How do you get to Woodstock from Hamilton, but using either the go bus or go train?
Stagecoach bus S3 from Oxford (Gloucester Green) to Chipping Camden, 09.00, 13.55 or 17.15, change Chipping Camden on to Stagecoach bus 50 to Stratford. Journey time is just under two hours. (I think this used to be a through bus, but daft EU legislation doesn't understand that bus routes might be more than 50km long!) Alternatively, train from Oxford to Leamington Spa then local bus from Leamington Spa to Stratford.
No, there is no ferry between Auckland and Hamilton. Any ferry between these places would be taking a very indirect route. Hamilton is an inland city. It is on the Waikato river, which is navigable to beyond Hamilton, but any relatively direct route between these cities is over land.
