No, like the PlayStation 2, the original Xbox can not handle the requirements needed to run GTA IV (graphics, etc).
Yes. It is available for the PS2, Microsoft Windows, and the (original) Xbox.

grand theft auto iv and grand theft auto stories from liberty city.but gta 5 is coming out soon.
The redeem code for Grand Theft Auto IV on the Xbox 360 is located on the game package.
This must be a pretty old question. Actually a Grand Theft Auto game already came out for the XBOX 360. Its called GTA IV and follows the story of Yugoslavian immigrant Niko Bellic. The game was released for the XBOX 360 and the PS3 on April 29, 2008. And if I misunderstood your question and you meant "are they remaking the original Grand Theft Auto for XBOX 360" I seriously doubt it.
The current GTA games that are available for Xbox 360 are:Grand Theft Auto IV (2008)Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned (2009)Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony (2009)Grand Theft Auto V (2013)Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2014 - re-release)
No you can not.
it is cool but the xbox sucks
Yes, Xbox 360 supports backwards compatibility; meaning that it will play original Xbox games. There were 3 different Grand Theft Auto titles released for the original Xbox, and they are listed below:* Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy * Grand Theft Auto: Vice City * Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas™ It is said on the official Xbox website that "A software emulator is required for each original Xbox game you play on your Xbox 360™ console." The software emulator defaultly comes preloaded with every Xbox 360 hard drive, and if you are connected to Xbox Live, then you probably already have the most recently updated software emulation. Also, Grand Theft Auto IV is currently in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A solid release date is still unknown, but industry insiders are speculating a Q1 2008 release date. It is also said that the developers of GTA IV have stated that the game will be released "when it is finished".It is also noted that the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV will have exclusive content, some of which will be downloadable missions.
