You have to be careful with translations. The term battle axe only occurs in the King James translation. This an inaccurate translation, since the Hebrew word refers to a blunt weapon

The verse you seem to be talking about is Jeremiah 51:20:

מַפֵּץ-אַתָּה לִי, כְּלֵי מִלְחָמָה; וְנִפַּצְתִּי בְךָ גּוֹיִם, וְהִשְׁחַתִּי בְךָ מַמְלָכוֹת

You are My maul and weapons of war, and with you will I shatter the nations, and with you will I destroy kingdoms.

The Hebrew word in this verse is מַפֵּץ (mappétz) which is is most often translated as maul or war hammer.

If you want to say "I am God's maul" it would be aní mapétz adonai (אני מפץ ה׳)

If you want to say "I am God's battle axe" it would be aní garzén krav adonai (אני גרזן קרב ה׳)
