You have to be careful with translations. The term battle axe only occurs in the King James translation. This an inaccurate translation, since the Hebrew word refers to a blunt weapon
The verse you seem to be talking about is Jeremiah 51:20:
מַפֵּץ-×ַתָּה לִי, כְּלֵי מִלְחָמָה; ×•Ö°× Ö´×¤Ö¼Ö·×¦Ö°×ªÖ¼Ö´×™ בְךָ גּוֹיִ×, וְהִש×ְחַתִּי בְךָ מַמְלָכוֹת
You are My maul and weapons of war, and with you will I shatter the nations, and with you will I destroy kingdoms.
The Hebrew word in this verse is מַפֵּץ (mappétz) which is is most often translated as maul or war hammer.
If you want to say "I am God's maul" it would be anà mapétz adonai (×× ×™ מפץ ה׳)
If you want to say "I am God's battle axe" it would be anà garzén krav adonai (×× ×™ גרזן קרב ה׳)
It sounds quite comical in Hebrew, but you would say:ani garzen krav shel Adonai (אני גרזן קרב של אלוקים)
Ze'eb (modern Hebrew: Ze'ev), meaning Wolf, was a Midianite Sar (officer; nobleman) who was killed by Gideon (Gid'on) the Israelite, in battle (Judges ch.7).
