Has someone ever been able to cancel their timeshare contract?
I have cancelled one a few years ago with Vidanta , in Cancun, Mexico. When I realized what I really obtained by having a timeshare "nothing but paying endless fees", I decided to cancel my contract, though when I tried to cancel, the rescission period had already expired. I contacted the resort but they just had me talking over the phone with different people from the resort back and forth though none of them ever gave me a solution, rather than that I just had many other offers in which they will supposedly benefit me if I kept my contract with the resort, I even got contacted from a resale company which I assume it was a complete fraud. I refused and simply started seeing other options that could help me get out of the contract During this search, I encountered Mexican Timeshare Solutions who helped me to get out of the claws of this fraudulent company. The more I investigated about VIDANTA, the more important was for me to cancel this contract. MTS explained to me how this companies operate and by just researching about it in google I found a huge amount of complaints about it. Finally, I was able to cancel it through the help of the attorneys of Mexican Timeshare Solutions.
