the difference is subsistance comes with metal gear 1 &2, a=it also has more movies for the movie brower (such as Metal Gear Raiden) and the online feature has more stuff to do and more room to play around in. Also when u play in story it has more costumes and face paints and you can get virtual reality training in MGS 2 substance.
