You can use the Kindle Fire HDX 7 with Chromecast if you get the Avia app (the paid version, not the free ad-supported version). The app will let you stream content to any devices that use the DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) standard, which also includes the Chromecast.
Let's find some kindling to start the campfire
Yes but sometimes it doesnt let you so try again
Try to sync. If you look at the top of your kindle fire HD where it says the time scroll down and there is a little sign that looks similar to a recycle sign and under it it says sync. Click it and try to open your apps again. It worked for me
Nope! Kindle (amazon) will let you download their e-books to your PC! FREE! Go to Amazon.com, click on "Kindle my PC" and download their free software. You can buy e-books (you'll need an account) for $0.00 or their regular price, right onto your PC, and read it from there... same navigability factors as a real Kindle. Have fun and get smart!

When the Kindle is ON press the Power Button and hold it down. Then press the Volume Down button and push it down too until the Kindle goes off. Just don't let any button go before it goes off. That should fix the problem.
Yes, you can. I suggest Text+ or Text+ Gold. These apps require internet to recieve messages and send messages. However, these apps say they can call other devices but they cannot.Hope this helps,~Erin~
I assume you're not talking about a Kindle Fire. If you are, let me know and we may have to try something a little different. For now, try plugging in the Kindle, waiting 5-10 minutes, then slide and hold the power switch. You should see the screen flash. It may take from twenty seconds to a minute, and then it will take a few minutes for the Kindle to reset. Once that is done, if the screen is still blurry then you probably have a hardware problem. If you're still under warranty (or even if you're not) call 1-866-321-8851 (assuming you're in the US). Regardless of whether they agree to replace your Kindle for free, if you get a new Kindle, or if you install the Kindle app on any other device, you will be able to sign in and retrieve your books.
For mobile devices, there is not an app that will let you know if you already have a photo in your gallery.
