The Bible doesn't say "brain."
The "human spirit" resides in the physical human brain... which gives man "intelligence, intellect -- MIND." It's what gives man the ability to think, plan, dream, create... understand.
"...the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens... and formeth the spirit of man within him." (Zech.12:1)
"...the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer." (Job 20:3)
"...there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding." (Job 32:8)
"...be renewed in the SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND..." (Eph.4:23).

Bible or Holy Bible
The word text does not change its meaning just because it's in the Bible instead of another book. Text means the written words.
If you are referring to the Hebrew Bible, the text is not made from translations. Hebrew is the original language of the Bible. Translations of the Hebrew Bible are made by many people in many different ways.

That text is from Plato. It's not in the Bible.
The primary religious text for Christians is the Holy Bible.
The "text" of Christianity is the Bible, also called the Scriptures
The Old testament came from the Hebrew and Aramaic texts called the Massaratic text and the New testament came from the Greek text called the Received Text or the Majority text. Because this Bible was translated from these texts is why it is the most reliable. The Geneva Bible existed before the King James as well as a German Bible from Martin Luther and Tyndale's Bible in England.
