There is no direct bus to Lough Gur from Limerick. If you go to the bus station in Limerick you can get the Kilfinane bus and alight at Reardons pub in Holycross. It is then possible to walk to the lake which is about 2 miles from the pub.
From Dublin you can get a train to Limerick city. It is about 16 miles or 25 kilometres from Shannon Airport. From Limerick you would get a bus or taxi to Shannon Airport.
The best way is probably by bus. You may need to make at least two journeys. From Galway you could go to Limerick for example and then on towards Dingle. See the related link below for the main bus company, from where you can look at your options. You need to make changes in Limerick and Tralee, but you can ask the driver on the first bus for a through ticket to Dingle which will be cheaper than buying 3 separate tickets.

You could fly. You could get a bus to Limerick and from there get a bus or train to Dublin. You could drive.
If you are driving, you would come out of the airport and head south towards Dublin city on the M1. The you need to turn onto the M50 and head southbound. Proceed to junction 9. Note that you will have passed a toll bridge and your registration number will have been picked up and you will need to pay by the next evening. Leave the M50 at junction 9 and head onto the Limerick road which is the M7. From there you drive to Limerick. Pass around Limerick exit at junction 30 and join the M20/N21 heading towards Adare Manor, which is on the left shortly after this. Alternate ways would be to travel to Dublin city and get the train from Heuston Station to Limerick, or by bus from Busaras to Limerick. From Limerick you can get buses or even a taxi to Adare Manor.

Get Bus eireann "Bus Number 13" to Limerick which connects with 2nd "Bus Number 12" to Dublin.
