The port for it is in your hard drive. then get the other end and put it into your ipod touch. the port for this will be situated at the bottom of it near the home button. Make sure your computer is on, it will automatically sync to your computer and begin charging. a charger lead symbol will come up on the ipods screen showing that it is being charged.
