you would be playing and this window comes up, it should say "you have found a baby turtle/squid you should post for adoption" post it. then go on home page and find your post the look at the bottom it should say adopt fish. If some one else hasn't already taken it you get a new fish.

that probably doesnt work now because it says that you cant take your own fish.
