Interesting question...
But first, wouldn't one have to believe both concepts (demons and fate) before one can answer if there is a specific demon that goes by the name of fate. So, from this perspective, I suppose if one believes in demons, then it is not far fetched to believe that one of them could be called Fate, or Harold, or Marcia or anthing else.
Personally, I think some better questions might be 1) is there a such thing as demons? and 2) is there a such thing as fate? and 3) is there a correlation between demons and fate? Now we got a conversation going.
So, being in a finite body within access to all metaphysical information... my first response would be, "Heck, I don't know... nobody knows. The best we can do is speculate. So let's speculate."
1. Does it make sense? No
2. Is it practical? No
3. Does it matter? No
4. If I knew this information, would it make a difference? No
5. Do I care? Not really... (I just like the question)
So, let's speculate some more. Let's say there is a demon called fate... what does that mean for me? That I can call him by name? Or if I hear he's coming to my party, cancel it? What?
Believing is demons is ok, I guess... just like believing in angels, fairies, and the like. People can believe in whatever they want to as long as their beliefs don't harm anyone else. But I think we all know that no one can answer that question, unless of course, it is the demon itself. Only he (or she) can say, "My name is Fate."
