The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is simply a breed of domestic Dog, meaning they should be fed normal Dog food. I have always fed mine Wagg Complete (for Adult Dogs), but any dry biscuit or wet canned food should be fine.
It will probably do the dog no harm; but since cat food is designed for a cat's physiology, it is probably not the best choice for him nutritionally.

I have a 10 yr old samoyed myself, samoyeds just eat normal dog food but if they are adult give them big chunky dog food and then small dog food for little puppies
