I had problems with the magazine as well, it wouldn't feed correctly. What I did was to make a note of how it was feeding incorrectly(too low or too high), then I took the magazine apart and re-bent the red metal feeder in the magazine to a better angle. If it is feeding too high you want to bring the front down just a bit by bending the legs of the feeder forward slightly. mine now works perfectly 100% of the time. Another thing I did was to shorten the legs on the same piece so now the magazine holds 8. The other thing you must do is to get an aftermarket trigger from midwayusa. It is amazing that Marlin sells such a nice gun with a magazine that doesnt work and a trigger that sucks.
The problem with the ar-7 jamming is not the rifle but it has to do with the magazine. Here is how to fix the problem.Polish or fine sand the feeding ramp on the magazine to bare metal and lightly lubricate with gun greese.Lubricate after every shooting session and you will never have another jam.
The Marlin Model 88 was made from 1947-1956. The Model 88-DL has peep sights, and was made from 1953-1956. Your question on repairs is too broad to answer. Most .22 rimfire ammunition is fairly dirty. If a good cleaning and light lubrication will not fix your problem, you need to find a gunsmith to examine your rifle and fix the problem. Marlin DOES have owners manuals for many of their firearms available free at their website. I am looking for a book that has the descriptions of how to disassemble and reassemble the firearm so that I don't have to take them to a gunsmith as I have the ability to fix them myself if only I had the correct information at hand
we are still trying to fix the problem
No one answer- sort of like how do you fix a car that won't start. Depends on what the problem is that was causing the jam. Possible sources of the problem- bad or wrong ammo, bad magazine lips, dirty/unlubricated gun. broken/ worn parts, and operator error.
You must specify the model and what is not working.
Depends on the problem. If you want to fix the problem, then find the solution and use the solution to fix it.
trying to fix simular problem
There is no problem of gays in the military, so there is nothing to fix.
I would have it looked at by a compitent gunsmith.
and what problem would that be?
I have a Marlin 30 30 deer rifle and it is jammed with the lever action down how can I unjam it?
Take it to a gunsmith. You did not say what is wrong with it.
