The Daewoo Lanos 1400cc does not typically have a fuel bleed valve as part of its standard design. Instead, fuel system issues are generally addressed through the fuel pump and fuel line components. If you're experiencing fuel system problems, it may be best to consult the vehicle's service manual or a professional mechanic for guidance on troubleshooting and repairs.
If it is the same as the 2000 Daewoo Lanos, it will be located inside the car on the passenger side. You will have to remove most of the lower dash (black plastic) to find it, there are about 30 (7 mm) screws that need to get removed and the fan will have to come out to access the expansion valve block. The expansion valve itself is held in place with (2) 8mm bolts.
The PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve on a 1999 Daewoo Lanos is typically located on the valve cover or near the intake manifold. To access it, you'll usually need to remove any engine covers or components obstructing your view. The valve is often connected to a hose that leads to the intake system. Make sure to check your vehicle’s manual for specific diagrams and instructions for your model.
To bleed the rear brakes on a Daewoo Lanos SE, start by ensuring the brake fluid reservoir is filled. Begin with the wheel farthest from the master cylinder, usually the right rear, and have an assistant pump the brake pedal several times before holding it down. Use a brake bleeder tool or a wrench to open the bleeder valve, allowing fluid and air to escape until you see a steady stream of fluid. Close the valve, have your assistant release the pedal, and repeat the process for the left rear brake. Always check the fluid level and top it off as needed.
Both the 1.5 & 1.6 Ltr. engines use "Hydraulic Valve Lash Compensators" No tappet settings are provided.
valves do retreat into heads that is why a clearance should be just cqause a gap wont show it still needs it
You cannot manually test the EGR valve like you can with most ie. applying vaccum and depressing the diaphram. The EGR valve is controlled by the ECM you must have an OBD-2 compliant scan tool to montinor EGR functions.
Most likely the valve cover "Gaskit" and/or the "O ring" bolt seals need replacing. Regards, C-F
The idle air control valve will be located by the throttle body.
I had this problem on my R reg Lanos. It was the Idle Air Control valve letting too much air into the engine. My mechanic simply cleaned it and it has been fine ever since. If it needs replacing they are about £100.
hoe tdo you change a valve cover gasket on a daewoo nubira
By using the bleeder valve by the boiler
In a 1998 1.4 Daewoo Lanos, the camshaft position sensor is typically located near the top of the engine, often on the cylinder head or near the camshaft itself. It is usually mounted on the timing cover or around the valve cover area. To access it, you may need to remove any engine covers or components that obstruct the view. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for precise location and installation details.
