Runescape is similar and free. Guild Wars has a 1-time cost for the game then all on-line play is free. AdventureQuest Worlds: Legends of Lore MMO less then 2 years old and getting better! this game is free to play. you can however pay for an advantage, 50-60 bucks for 1 year. once again, no CC or payment is required to play. have fun!

My answer..... (Rsc Veteran) It's a matter of opinion. Some people argue games like WoW (Word of Warcraft) and Guild Wars are better. But personally I'd rather play RuneScape :)
