I think I may have seen a similar spider today. The "butt" of the spider was quite large, burnt orange color with white spots on the top. I have never seen the spider before but I think I found a picture of it online. I haven't found the name of it yet. I'll let you know when I find out what it was. I may have found the spider you saw. The one I saw is called a shamrock orb weaver. Check out the pic on spiderzrule.com under the link Common US Spiders on the home page.
I don't know but we have been seeing them appear around our home. My mom said the green eyes are so green and beautiful she almost doesn't want to kill them, but we have toddlers running around and we don't know if they are poisonous or not.
I saw one of those today outside my home...scary! I googled it and found it's called the "Supercolor orange sack spider" but have so far only found one site with pictures (looks just like what I saw) and no facts. I hope to find out more!!
the first thing i think of is black widow if you see a spider that looks like this in your home you should call an exterminator imediatlly u may have black widow they can confirm or not from there :) and yes BC has a major black widow problem for those who did not know that black widows do live in bc :) it could also be one of the black widows many relatives please have this checked by an extermiator
A common black spider with a red spot on its back is the Jumping Spider. It is somewhat fuzzy. The Jumping Spider is about 1/8 - 3/4 inches long, very hairy, stocky built, and short-legged. The markings are diverse among its many species. Some are black with spots of orange or red on the back. At first site some fear it to be a Black Widow Spider. The Black Widow, however, has a red hourglass shape underneath on the belly and has longer legs. The difference in the Jumping Spider that I found in my home is that the orange marks near the face are lacking and the white spot on the back is a red spot. This answer is based on searching the Internet to find out what kind of spider was visiting my desktop.
There are several places you can find a realtor to sell your home or any home. There is always the phone book which has a large listing, or you can find ads in your daily paper.
Home Life of the Spider - 1915 was released on: USA: 18 November 1915
That description could be hard to pin point. North America is home to about 3,400 of the categorized 40,000 species of spiders in the world and I could tell you a name with is not the one you have seen. When you have a description like this, you should mention the place where it was seen. Maybe you can describe the web if it was seen in a web because spiders can generally be identified by the type of web they create though not all webs are used to capture prey. Maybe if the spider you saw is a web spider and not a tarantula spider could be an American House Spider, a Banded Garden Spider or an Orb Weaver spider.
Spiders and spider webs are all over the place. Many people find spider webs in their house every single day, and seeing one on Christmas is no different. Regardless of when you find a spider web in your house, finding it probably means you have not been careful to dust and clean the less frequently used corners of your home.
