There are all sorts of magical people in fiction. In addition to wizards, there may be fairies, gremlins, leprechauns gnomes, and many others. Of course, none of these exist in reality.
Wizards tend to live independently, but they may also form relationships or alliances with other wizards for various reasons such as mentorship, friendship, or to collaborate on magical projects. It is not uncommon to find groups or societies of wizards who come together for mutual support or to advance their magical studies.

majic or magic is a force used by witches wizards and other magical (majical) things. Some people don't believe their is such a thing called magic and its a fake but the people who do find great wonders in many things and become more coutiouse then the people who don't.
They use the term for Muggles for people that are not aware of the magical world. They use the term 'squib' for someone born of a wizarding family that doesn't have the ability to use magic. Mr. Filch is a squib.
Please note that Harry Potter is a fictional story. According to this story, wizards and witches (as the female wizards are called in the Harry Potter story) usually inherit their magic from their parents - though in some cases non-magical parents have magical children, and vice versa.

I've already answered a similar question to this so I'll keep the response brief. Science does not recognize the existence of magic, and therefore does not recognize the existence of wizards. However, there are people who call themselves wizards (for various reasons) and they do exist, so by default wizards DO exist (though the jury's out as to how magical they really are)
