personally I think the answer to that gets technical. I have seen dogs that will not pee exactly where they sleep but say 6 inches beside it they will. I guess it depends on how you look at it. I was always told that too though, but in owning 3 dogs from the time they were 6-8 weeks old, has taught me otherwise.
