There are some out there now, they usually tend to have 'hidden worlds' much like the "Harry Potter" series, only actions in those 'Hidden Worlds' directly and very obviously effect things in the 'Real World' where the 'normals' live without knowledge of the 'Hidden World'. A key point in the definition of such fantasy would have to be that those effects happen even when NOT intended by those from the 'Hidden World' - at least, that's what I would think anyway. Direct effect would be more in line with low fantasy and likely more along the line of possible invasion or warfare between the two worlds, because such direct effect would eventually lead to the 'normals' learning about the existence of a 'second world' hidden from them.
