No. It is a completely new console that is a successor to the Wii. However, it is fully backwards compatible with Wii games, Wii downloads, and Wii controllers.

PS4 is just slang for the next Playstation Console. Until the E3 release of a future Sony console there is not a console coming until after the next E3. Nintendo Wii unveiled the Wii U at the latest E3 in the summer of 2011, but even the name that was announced is not set in stone as an example of how important they consider the choice for the name of a new product. Also as another example of how far ahead the official announcement is from product availability you can still not even preorder the Nintendo's newest console almost a year after it was announced.

It's not called the Wii 2, but a new Wii console called the Wii U has been out for two years as of this answer. Back in 2010, when this question was asked, the Wii U hadn't been announced yet, so there would have been no way of knowing if there would be one.
