The only way to switch off the airbag light is to remove the airbag light or remove the airbag light fuse. The airbag light fuse will disable several other instrument panel warning lights.
The panel light dimmer switch is turned off. The panel light fuse is blown. The panel light bulbs are blown out.
it is inside the door panel
PULL the light switch out (must be in lowbeam setting for fog lights to work)
depending on the year of the vehicle, it could be a voltage drop running through the multi-function switch. Both the turn signal indicators and the high beam indicator are handled through the lever on the column. If your vehicle is an older vintage with the dimmer switch on the floor, check underneath the switch for rust and corrosion.
I doubt that all the lights went out at once so lets start with the light switch. Either the switch or something on the light switch panel turns or slides to control the brightness of you instrument lights. It can also shut them completely off. So try that first. Next xheck the fuse panel for the fuse marked inst panel. It is most certainly one of those two things. If not you can always have the light switch or the instrument panel tested. Good luck.
# Disconnect the negative battery cable # Remove the finish panelfrom the left end of the instrument panel # Reach through the access hole in the left end of the instrument panel end and push out the switch panel from the headlight switch and instrument panel dimmer switch # Disconnect the electrical connectors from the headlight switch and rheost and remove the switch assembly # When installing the switch assembly make sure that it snaps into place in the instrument panel.
You can either go to switch or to light first. I wired house for my brother ran power supply from junction box then to each switch then to light. Passed inspection no problem
inside the door panel
If a single pole switch is wired to be a master switch, the switch would have to be in the on position for any other control devices to operate. Turning the master switch off would eliminate power to all devices (and/or loads) which it was serving. For example, some homes have a switch to control their outside light. If the outside light has a photo eye (the light will only come on at night), the switch is the master switch. Another example would be the breakers in an electrical panel. Each breaker would be the "master switch" for the circuit it protects. The main breaker in the panel would be the "master switch" for the entire home.
brake light switch is mounted by the brake pedel remove lower panel above brake pedel and then you will see the switch should be able to turn the switch to replace
The boot light must be staying on.Check the switch.
