The Bible tells us 'Pray without ceasing'. Continual prayer to God is the only effective way. Even if your prayer isn't answered in the time you want it to be, it will be answered in God's time and not necessarily how you may have wanted it to be. How does god lead Christians lives?

God speaks to us through the Bible, they say it is the living word of God, as well as through our conscience. Reading the Bible sharpens your conscience so you know if its God who is talking to you throughout the day and when it comes time to make bigger decisions. On the other side we talk to God through prayer. So we might ask a question in prayer and find an answer through a strong feeling that is confirmed by what the Bible teaches.
