Short answer is no. There is however a technical service bulletin out for the speedometer needle shaking at 60mph and above, as well as erratic operation.
It refers to check a ground that is on the drivers side of the engine, as it loses connection. It is under the intake manifold, towards the middle of the engine.

could be a bad instrument cluster panel, they had a recall on the instrument cluster panel. I had my speedometer stop working and was given a price to fix it and blew it off. Then the recall came and I got a new instrument cluster and that fixed the problem which they knew they had.

you mean the sensor at the engine? try the Chevy website- there was a major recall on the 04 aval instrument cluster-good luck

remove the trim panel around the instrument cluster then remove cluster. On the back of instrument cluster are the bulbs just turn them half a turn and they come right out.
On mine, its behind the dashboard instrument cluster.
Because there is a known issue with the brake lamps on the 2003 Trailblazer. I own a 2003 Trailblazer and had to take it in for service on a recall due to the issue. Take it to your Chevy dealer and have them check the VIN to see if the recall was ever done.
