Yes, I was just about to go for Thanksgiving weekend, but change of plans. Now...I don't remember the names of the highways. But there are two ways. First...you can take the main hwy which ever that is. It's more public and too many cars. So forget about this.
But the one that many people have talked about is the highway that's right on the edge of the coast. You would drive as if you were going to the beach in Oregon and then I believe you would take the exit of the beaches that are more towards the south. That whole road is very beautiful and it will take you directly to San Fransisco. Right on the edge. So you could probably research or look at a map to see which hwy or road that would be that is right on the edge of the coasts from Oregon all the way to San Fransisco.
