Yes however the 15th season of Degrassi The Next Generation is now officially the first season of Degrassi The Next Class, the first season of The Next Class premiered on January 4, 2016 on Family's F2N in Canada and it was uploaded to Netflix for all of the remaining countries on January 15, 2016. The Next Class is considered a new season but previous actors from the last couple seasons of Degrassi have returned in order to continue to reprise their roles and those actors and actresses are Sara Waisglass who portrays Frankie, Spencer MacPherson who portrays Hunter, Olivia Scriven who portrays Maya Matlin, Eric Osborne who portrays Miles, Lyle Lettau who portrays Tristan, Andre Kim who plays Winston, Ricardo Hoyos who portrays Zig, Ana Golja who portrays Zoe and Stefan Brogren who portrays Principal Simpson.
