The Hobbit film was done in parts. The first part was An Unexpected Journey released in theaters in 2012. The second part, The Desolation of Smaug, will be released in theaters some time in 2013. The third part should be There and Back Again expected to be released in theaters in 2014.

∙ 10y agoYes. There are two more films set to be released. The second installment (The Desolation of Smaug) has been announced to be premiering in December of 2013. The third and final film (There and Back Again) is supposed to be released sometime in 2014.
