Take screen shots in game. If you want a "sketch" appearance, many art programs have a filter which will give your screen shot a more cartoony appearance. You could also use an art program which supports layers, add a new layer to your screen shot, and outline your Sim using the pencil or other tools. Hide the layer with the screen shot and save.
If you really want to draw your Sim on paper, print out the screen shot and use tracing paper.
Other than that, any site that teaches drawing humans would give you pointers.
Well the best site I know on how to teach you that is Manga University, because it's really good and safe. It teaches you how to draw guidelines and how to draw the nose and mouth. It even teaches you how to draw really good eyes. Just type it in on Google and the one that says Manga University is the one. If you want something simpler then I recommend looking for a tutorial on Dragoart. Dragoart is really good if you're looking to draw specific characters, or specific parts. Anyway I'm sure you can find more.Hope I helped! :)
A good site to help you DRAW is: Five pencil method.First you subscribe, and they send you how-to videos. The videos help a lot.It teaches about the right kind of pencils to use and the proper lighting to help you draw realistically.
dragonart.com
Its an online university who teaches how to draw manga.
It was formerly Sims.ea.com, but they replaced it. The site I listed is now the official Sims 3 site, so I believe there is no longer currently a site for the Sims 1. Sorry for the inconvenience.
