One example of zoomorphism in the Bible is found in Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." This verse uses the imagery of eagles to depict the strength and endurance that believers can find in their faith.
The Great Awakening was a series of religious revivals in the American colonies during the 18th century that aimed to renew religious enthusiasm and commitment among the population. It emphasized a personal relationship with God and prompted a wave of conversions and religious fervor.
During holy orders, a bishop typically asks the candidate for priesthood a series of questions related to their commitment to serving the Church and living a life of faith. The bishop also bestows blessings and prayers upon the candidate, invoking the Holy Spirit for guidance and strength in their future ministry.

Both the first and second Great Awakenings were religious revival movements that emphasized emotional and personal religious experiences, rejected formalities of organized religion, and spurred social change by urging individuals to reform their lives. They both sought to renew faith and increase religious fervor among the American population.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Rest and eat, same as us, I would think.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run , and not be weary ; and they shall walk , and not faint . (Isaiah 40:31)
Isaiah 40:31 KJV But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary; they shall walk and not faint.
This may come from the Bible. Isaiah 40:31 [King James Version] says "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
In the King James version the words - not faint - appear together just twice * Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. * Rev 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
Yes, As God is with me, He has already promise in the Bible that He will never forsake us; He will lead us to the green pasture, fresh water. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength like an eagle, even they sour up high in the sky, they will not grow weary nor shall faint, because God will he his helper.
Isaiah 40:29-31 says: "He gives power to the tired one And full might to those lacking strength. Boys will tire out and grow weary, And young men will stumble and fall, But those hoping in Jehovah will regain power. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary; They will walk and not tire out."
Rest and eat, same as us, I would think.
In some churches the lectern (Bible stand) is often carved into the shape of an eagle either out of wood, or usually brass. This symbolises the Word of God being proclaimed to the whole world taken out "on eagles' wings". The symbolising of eagles' wings in the Bible is quite widespread from psalm 91 to many of the prophesies where the eagle, the symbol of swift and strong flight, is used to denote protection, speed and the going ut into the whole world. Therefore, the eagles' wings upon which the Bible rests is a very apt reminder that whenever we read scripture in church, we are not reading it for ourselves, but so that the message can be taken out from that place and spread over the whole earth. It is also an encouragement to trust what God says in His Holy Word as we see in Isaiah 40:28-31: Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
