There are a million things which could make testicles sore. Some are trivial, some are scary. If your testicles hurt, go see a doctor about that, ok? No point in being stubborn when balls are on the line.

Another answer: Puberty is unlike to cause pain in the testes, it is not normal to experience pain there. See a doctor, there may be nothing seriously wrong but it is better to have a bit of embarrassement and make sure than to hope it will go away and allow something which may be serious to get a lot worse. Your doctor has seen many other penises and scrotums and won't be bothered and neither should you be, put your health first and remember that you can always impress you school friends with some juicy stories about the examination.
