AB is the universal recipeint....it can get O , A , B or AB blood. But also depends on the Rh factor.

AB- can get O-, A-, B- AB- only blood

AB+ can get O+,O-,A+,A-,B+,B-,AB+ or AB- red blood cells.

O is the universal recipient blood type. If you have O you can only recieve O. But if you have most anything else, you can still receive O. So, if you have O, go donate. You could be saving your own life.
