The original cut is actually an acoustic, its performed by Dick Gaughan and is also called Worker's Song.
As far as I know, there is no such version. The only vocal ensemble I know of who recorded a vocal version of Ravel's Bolero is The Israeli Vocal Octet Here's a YouTube link from 2006:
Lea Salonga as the singing voice andMing-Na as the regular voice.
The Beach Boys' version of "Hushabye" was very much a group vocal, for the most part, but with solo vocal parts by Brian and Mike.
Yes, Eddie Murphy and Aaron Neville collaborated on the song "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me," which was featured on Murphy's 1989 album "So Happy." The song showcases both artists' distinctive vocal styles, blending Murphy's comedic flair with Neville's soulful voice. Their collaboration is a unique intersection of comedy and music, highlighting Murphy's versatility as an entertainer.
I found Ernestine Anderson did a real cool version, and Chet Baker has a vocalist on his as well, not sure her name though.
The orchestral version is "March of the Toreadors" from "Carmen". I have not been able to locate the vocal version, so if anybody can answer that, I'd appreciate it.
Isaac Hayes- on the "Shaft" soundtrack titled 'Ellie's Love Theme'
A search of allmusic.com was unsuccessful in finding a vocal version of Barry White's Love's Theme. There was, however, a listing for Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark for a song called Dream of Me (Based on Love's Theme (composer Barry White)) for which there were 3 CD singles released, one containing Version #1 and the other two, Version #2. Each version single also contained a different set of other OMD songs. I found the vocal version in the Album In Heat 1975, Love Unlimited Orchestra and on a video in YouTube.com. The Album In Heat has never been released in the States as a CD, but you can buy it in Amazon as an import for about 69.00. But before doing all that you coudl also buy the song as MP3, download it and verify it is the vocal version, because this answer is based upon information found in the internet and Youtube as well as other sources. I have not bought the CD in question nor have made the download to be 100% sure but heard the song in two intances live in YouTube, Mexico and as part of a movie soundtrack in which comes the studio vocal version both of them really nice. I wish that before investing the money make sure you are getting what you really want and not another version that is intrumental. If I do the buying I will inform the results.
The Canadian singer Ed Evanko recorded the vocal version of the theme
I think this person meant the music only with no vocal, i.e. the karaoke version of this song. I'm looking for the same thing. I'm a singer and I'd like to sing O'Bryan's version of this song if I can find a music only sound track.
Arthur Lyman did the instrumental version. Vocal versions included Mills Brothers, Chris Isaak, Harry Belafonte and the Brothers Four.
yes it is. example. He was a very vocal man.
