pull up the cheat menu (ctrl + shift + c) then type in: boolprop testingcheatsenabled true

shift + click on the sim you want to grow up then click set age > set to birthday and they will grow up the next day

in the sims life stories, in order to make a kid grow up faster you press ctrl-shift-c at the same time and then type in BoolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true and then hold shift and click on the mother sims and then press spawn and then tombstone of l&d and then click on the tombstone and press more and press more again and then click on age baby and then select the babies name. the mother sim or an adult will then help the baby with its birthday
