It depends on the phone system. It is easily stated that it is your phone, not the teenagers, they are too young to sign the contract. One of the rights of having a phone is allowing full access to it.

There doesn't actually exist a way for you to preemptively block dirty text messages. You can however block numbers from texting you that have sent you dirty text messages.

I tried some web services a few years ago that allowed you to Text message them and they would send each message to your Fax Machine.
