Well there is a way to kind of get a dragon amulet for free, you can use dragon amulet weapons, use all the moves of all the classes and train your dragon but you cant change your dragon's color or go on dragon amulet quests except for the ones where you fight with your full grown dragon.
All you need is a dragonfable trainer like thiso one.
