You have to become a Moshi Monsters Member (Pay for Membership) to get 3 Moshlings. You can only have 2 Moshlings when you are a non-member. Hope this helps :)
Are ultra rare moshlings easy or harder if you are a member?
It is the same, whether or not you are a member. The difference between the common, uncommon, rare, and ultra rare moshlings is in the seed combinations/codes. For most of the moshlings, to get the common moshlings, the three seeds can be any color. Uncommon moshlings need one seed of a specific color, rare moshlings need two seeds of a specific color and ultra rare moshlings need three seeds of specific colors. There are a few exceptions to this as some of the moshlings are found by doing Super Moshi Missions and a couple of the moshlings don't fit the pattern.
On moshi monsters how many moshlings can you get?
You can only catch one Moshling at a time since there are only three holes to plant seeds in. If you are non-member or Basic Member, you can only keep 2 moshlings in your house and keep one moshling in your backyard. If you are a Moshi Member (paid membership), you can get all of the Moshlings. You can have up to 6 moshlings in your room which can be swapped any time, but the rest are kept in your Moshling Zoo.

Different combinations attract different moshlings.
