Of course! Lots such as e.g. many cam
It depends on if your webcam is built in or one that you bought... Mine is built in to my laptop so this is how I shoot videos: 1) Find the software that came pre-downloaded on the PC for the webcam (for ex: mine is Cyberlink Youcam) 2) open up the file 3) there should be a button somewhere that says "Capture" or "Record" If you have webcam that you bought separately, im sure it should be the same, just make sure you have all of the software downloaded and are able to locate the file easily... Hope this helps!
I've downloaded all the SDK's and some nifty 3rd party software. No luck finding a hack that makes the software think the webcam is the Kinetic Cam/ Sensor. I'll keep trying. sion@trusted-office.co
Kinda hard to make a suggestion without knowing what kind of webcam you have. Your best bet is google "free webcam software" and you will find several sites with free software (including free downloads from the webcam manufacturer). You can then refine your search for your particular application and download.
You cannot download a web cam. They must be purchased. You can download web cam software and device drivers usually from the manufacturer's web page or from a trusted site such as CNet.com.
I recommend you a simple software which meets you basic needs. Webcam Capture Studio is a webcam recorder software, it simulates a virtual webcam, when you have a Skype chat just do some settings. You can Google it or cope the URL here, and then paste it in your address bar.
To use your laptop webcam, you have to install a program that is compatible with webcam chat such as Skype or MSN. Both programs are free and can be downloaded on their websites.
Your webcam should have come with it's own software. If it didn't, then follow the instructions that came with it. If you don't have them, then try searching the internet for that specific webcam..
Hardware
I went with EyeSpyFX's webcam software. It's worked really well so far. I'm using WebcamXP webcam software, and it's been great.
The webcam on a Mac is controlled by the software using it. Launch Photobooth, Facetime, iChat, iMovie or any other software that requires the camera and it will be activated.
The effects are provided by the software being used by the webcam. With the right software any webcam will produce special effects
If you have a built in webcam to your computer you will probably have a software in it where you can take pictures and videos. If not I'm pretty sure you can buy a software.
