Officially, no. However, pit bulls are a victim of mans need for attention, and thus have become the topic of many peoples attempt at achieving their needs. In other words, sadly, people have made up a lot of crap, about pits, that just isn't so, to try to gain attention for themselves, make themselves out to be something they are not, drive up the value, so they can make a buck, at the breeds expense, or, simply are not smart enough, to understand the dogs........Chuck.
